White paper by the French trust.ai collective : Challenge of industrializing AI

Discover the new white paper produced by the French trust.ai collective addressing the problem of tools and methods for tackling and evaluating several aspects linked to “trust” in critical systems with embedded AI. This document is general and accessible in its content, to enable as many people as possible to familiarize themselves with it.

Confiance.ai is the largest technological research program in the #AIforHUmanity plan, launched by the French government, one of the leading countries in the field of artificial intelligence. It tackles the challenge of industrializing AI, because the large-scale deployment of industrial systems integrating AI is crucial to our country’s industrial and economic competitiveness. The program has a strong ambition: to remove the barriers to AI industrialization and provide industrial players with methods and tools adapted to their engineering. The program’s originality lies in its integrative strategy: it takes a global approach to the scientific challenges linked to reliable AI, and proposes concrete solutions that can be applied in the real world and are ready to be deployed in operations.

According to the European Commission and the new regulatory proposal, the key objective for deployment in line with European values is trust. Dihnamic integrates this theme of trusted AI across all its service and support offerings. Even if Confiance.ai has to take all aspects into account, a particular effort is made to propose concrete and pragmatic answers in terms of system and software engineering methods.

Confiance.ai is therefore an operational project focused on industry. The aim is to gather sufficient skills and knowledge to deploy Trusted AI on a large scale. Read their white paper to find out more
