Industrial SMEs are expressing a significant need for training in Artificial Intelligence (AI), reveals a study conducted by Aerospace Valley, a member of the Dihnamic consortium. Based on feedback from managers, engineers and technicians working in these industrial SMEs, this analysis offers in-depth perspectives on their AI training issues, perceptions and requirements, including the risks and difficulties encountered.

The results highlight a strong demand for training managers in AI projects, including a strong methodological dimension such as ROI, compliance, lifecycle, success conditions, risk factors, evaluation and maintenance in operational conditions. Other emerging needs include peer testimonials and regulatory training. For technical targets, training needs relate to trusted AI (explicability, robustness, transparency, fairness), AI MLOps / ModelOp platforms, decision support, data engineering and AI algorithms).

In response to these identified needs, Dihnamic offers innovative and tailored training courses for managers, engineers and technicians, supporting these companies in their transformation towards a digitized and resilient production industry :

For managers, Dihnamic offers the following acculturation sessions: “What is AI?” delivered by Bordeaux INP, “Discovering AI: understanding to implement it” by Captronic or “A short history of AI, introduction to some principles and associated risks” by Inria.
Dihnamic also offers training courses for more technical profiles: 1.5 days of “AI testing” by Captronic, and 5 days of customized “AI” training by Bordeaux INP.
