For this 15th edition on June 7, 2024 at the Médiathèque in Biarritz, antic has chosen to approach artificial intelligence from the angle of Responsible Numerics, evoking their positive uses on this territory or elsewhere.

Every day, the news reports on new AI applications and deviant uses, alarming about the risks of supremacy and the overtaking of human intelligence, the disappearance of certain professions and the invasion of robots among us, or the negative influence on our brains.

And yet there are many advantages for those who know how to choose useful and responsible uses.

Useful and responsible uses of artificial intelligence are possible, but like any technological tool, it’s important to remain in control of its uses, free to make your own choices, and clear about its environmental and social impacts.

The Rencontres Numériques 2024 will feature a round-table discussion followed by thematic workshops, providing answers to questions about the uses of AI that need to be monitored or promoted, and revealing relevant initiatives.
